WHO IS BARNEY GLEESON?

With 30 years of hairdressing experience and numerous industry accolades, Barney has worked his way up from humble beginnings to working as a stylist in some of Australia's finest salons to travelling and working globally. Such sharp focus and consistent successes have seen Barney rise from behind the scenes to a celebrated name, described by beauty insiders as 'one of Australia's best-kept secrets'.

Salon Baby Hair is Barney's solo venture, a place where he can explore and demonstrate his passion for authentic, wearable hair.

'A person should wear their hair, not vice versa; I love to create hair tailored to the individual.' 

This natural approach is also apparent in Barney's editorial styling. When not in the salon, he can often be found on set for photographic shoots or on stage, leading educational demonstrations.

WHO IS SALON BABY?

The business takes its name from a song by famed Melbourne band Deadstar, one of Barney’s favourites.
