With restrictions easing further, the online booking system has been reinstated on the Home and Booking page of our website.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle following the easing of restrictions, our much loved ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM has been reinstated in our club COVID members section. This allows members to book their own appointments ahead and at their convenience.

In addition, extended hours have been added to accommodate demand, both post lockdown and now leading to Christmas. (You heard right!!!) Barney will be now working Tuesday - Saturday with clients.

Under the easing of regulations by the Victorian Government, hairdressing services can once again resume. I’d love to thank everyone for their support during this lengthy lockdown. I am excited to be able to return to work.

Please understand that, due to the backlog of clients waiting for appointments, there may be some wait for services. For the moment, online booking will remain offline so I am able to work through the waitlist. Should you like to join the waitlist for services, please email and I will return your query.

COVID SAFETY PLAN IS IN PLACE:

ENSURING PHYSICAL DISTANCING:

Floor markings are provided as visual indications of minimum physical distancing required.

Maximum capacity signage is displayed, complying with 4 square meter guidelines for indoor/enclosed spaces.

P.P.E. REQUIREMENTS:

Fitted face masks are worn at all times by both staff and clients in the salon.

HYGIENE:

Mandatory use for hand sanitiser by people entering the salon.

High touch surfaces cleaned between each client to minimise risk. This includes seating, basins, door handles. eftpos etc.

Wraps and towels are laundered after each use.

Equipment to clean and sterilised between use.

Paper towels are provided to replace cloth.

RECORDS:

Our appointment book and client records show name, time, date and service details and can provide information beneficial to contact tracing if required.

Along with the above measures, it is also encouraged that clients utilise our entrance garden and laneway (weather permitted) to minimise time spent indoors. Likewise, the front door will remain open (weather permitted) to encourage circulation of fresh air.

After much consideration and advice, I have decided to temporarily close the salon. Given the escalating scenario in this incredible city, it is necessary to make adjustments as needed to safe guard the health and welfare of all.

While in-salon services will not be available during this period, I will continue to support you all in any way I can. Remember to join club COVID to receive the latest news and updates… including my much loved iso movies featuring the lovely Melissa.

The ever changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and the imposition and lifting of trade restrictions changes our landscape daily and in a blink. Currently, Salon Baby Hair is able to continue to trade. However, I have decided to remove the online booking option from the website in order to deal directly with clients regarding existing and future appointments.

Under Stage 1 of restrictions to trading, Salon Baby Hair remains open under State and Federal requirements. We will keep our online booking system available for bookings. Please be aware that appointments may need to be rescheduled should further restrictions follow.

Additional health measures are in place to help minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19. This includes:

• mandatory use of hand stanitizer for operators and clients.

• single use wraps

• additional time allocation between clients to sterilise and disinfect.

We hope you understand that these measures are in place to keep Salon Baby Hair as a low risk environment. These are long term measures and will remain in place until further notice.
